I create quality handcrafted products made to order. I draw inspiration from different herbal, aromatherapeutic , spiritual & shamanistic traditions including, Native American, Biblical, Celtic, Hindu , Japanese Folk Medicine, Wicca, Victorian Literature , Gothic Poetry, and mystical dreams. I create and recreate modern and ancient herbal recipes, and have been since 1990.The result is superior handmade skin and bath care products to soothe the mind , body and spirit. We can also arrange wonderful gift baskets and boxes to enjoy yourself or give to others. All of MoonaLisa’s creations are made from pure and natural ingredients, I only use the highest quality essential oils, fragrant materials and perfume oils to create my scents. We absolutely never test on animals. We test only on willing human beings!

All hand made to order here in our studio in beautiful , historic sunny Crockett, California. Just 3 minutes away from the enchanting and mysterious Port Costa!
All of MoonaLisa’s products are wheat & paraben free ! And with the exception of Beeswax , Honey and occasional use of Goats milk, our products are also Vegan ! We absolutely NEVER EVER test on defenseless animals , only on willing human beings:) All of MoonaLisa’s products are made from all natural ingredients with the few exceptions of a 2% fragrance added ( and also always noted) , but most are made from pure essential oils , synergy’s, & Natural Perfumes, botanicals and essences. We also use all natural , safe preservatives. All ingredients are exposed on cards and or labels as well as descriptions on this web site. The only non disclosed ingredients are secret herbs , resins and oils in MoonaLisa’s original scent blends. If you have an allergy , please feel free to ask. Since we make our own recipes from scratch, it is not a problem for MoonaLisa to discuss with you all ingredients and or alternatives.
What makes MoonaLisa’s products different then most products out on the market? Because we make and create our own unique recipes and bases . We also use old herbalists recipes that are tried and true from scratch. As well as many esoteric recipes handed down thru our family. With the exception of some melt and pour soaps and the Potion Lotion , we do not purchase premade bases and add in scent. MoonaLisa has been creating and recreating recipes from modern and ancient herbal folklore for the past 17 years. Having extremely sensitive skin herself, she made a necessity into a passionate business. One that incorporates natures healing with artistic expression, resulting in superior handmade skin and bath care products to soothe and excite the mind, body and spirit.
Who is MoonaLisa?
An extremely happy native California, with an ethnic and spiritual background of Irish-Celtic Wiccan, Native American- Shamanism and a Spanish-Catholic background. She is also the Granddaughter of a Seventh Daughter of the Moon in the Rosicrucian society, self taught herbalist for about 17 years, and a graduate of Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute.
MoonaLisa is also a freelance artist in painting, photography ,sculpture and film. In MoonaLisa’s spare time she can usually be found either gardening in her extensive herb garden or are making glass pieces.
MoonaLisa has spent the past seventeen years, and most of her time still, in the pursuit of herbal folklore, remedies and recipes. Scouring over endless books , from modern and holistic , to ancient Egyptian papyrus. MoonaLisa is fascinated by not only the healing, and medicinal aromatherapeutic properties of herbs and oils, but she is also fascinated by the folklore and magical attributes of each. MoonaLisa has taught many classes to adults and children in areas of Fine Art, Cake Decorating, Candy making, Herbology , Herbal crafts and Soap Making. She is also a certified pastry chef , so the reinventing of recipes is second nature to her.
The end result is an incorporation of all , herbology, spiritualism, fine art and cooking, making unique , practical and artistic products for all to enjoy and enrich their lives.
MoonaLisa is helped by not only her fab husband , carpenter and artist extraordinaire, but on occasion, family members and friends under her strict guidance.
