All the Mabon was listed, graphics made, product made , packaged and shipped within three full days!
And I do believe we made a most excellent quality of product, if I do say sop myself:)
So what is my point? Can we be this fast if the volume is smaller??? What if we did that every four days or so, over and over, would more people get a chance to order?I am unsure, but it was a refreshing change from the dogpile I normally get. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutEly want orders and how I make my living, but its just the huge variety of products in each collection , all the art work involved, the scents alone have a large variety of components in most of them, they must be ordered or made from scratch and maintained, the product making , the ordering and maintaining of those ingredients themselves, the packaging , the packing and so on. As well as the GINORMOUS amount of orders to be made, sale after sale, and what makes the TAT get longer and longer and longer. I am missing the seasons myself , and I really have not had a real full day off in about three or fours years now and I am now feeling the need. Not to rest so much, although I should, I need more time from product and recipe creating, perfume creating, and to take a step back see where we are going , and to again~ create! I LOVE to create. I now have to create while I am making my current product of the day as well as in my sleep and wake up and write it down ( Curl has made me write them in a journal rather them keeping them all in my head).Its fantastic to have Curl around BTW, not only for her muscle in making Moopoo, but her brain to bounce off of, and her humor are all valuable assets, as well as a comfort to me.
So what is the point of this post? Well, its so late in the season and its my very favorite season , I think we should limit the variety and BOY howdy is that hard for me to do, I get so many ideas and start them months in advance its so hard to edit, but I must if I want to have a ghost ~ har , of a chance to make the orders in time for Halloween. So please don’t be disappointed if you don’t see the product you were hoping for, it will be coming again and soon, I want to keep the Halloween just Halloween items , and the regular fare coming after as well as Winter Holiday stuff.

and….. the new website!!!! It has been such an unbelievable long battle for me. I have know for years I needed a professional web site and cart , because a lot of the time is spent deciphering these orders via free and or cheap websites. AND I hate- hate- hate the look of commercial commerce sites, and so resisted. But things have grown so fast and furious I almost gave in, and I say almost~ cuz now I can have my cake and can eat it too!
I hired the marvelously talented Kira Butler to do the design of the site :

our own beloved Cherie from spoonfudges business to do all the tech work ( her husband Joe did it all) , they have done many bath and body businesses that we all know, and it has been no small feat -any of them. I am:A- a picky butt, but you all probably know that by now andB- I have never ever seen a e-commerce web site with this creative format. I love it!! and I hope you all do too. It is my gift to you all for all your loyalty to MoonaLisa, I know jumping from site to site has sucked beans, and now all under one roof and !! you can leave reviews if you so desire, have accounts and wish lists!
So when you plot =you can log in and make a wish list then add to your cart when we go live.Now -we have no idea if there will still be the problem of cart lifting or not, that is a reality of so many people making a virtual mad dash to the virtual door to cash out. But we shall see.
There is also a new blog and newsletter that match in the works. And more surprises coming later as the Holiday season approaches.

>Rock a Billy left over sale, and its a left over , and not a restock sale simply because we are out of time ( I normally bump up the quantity to accommodate more people), so the quantity is small.It will be on the Big-cartel site- HERE : moonalisa.bigcartel.com/because all the listings are already loaded there and I want to keep them separate form the Halloween sale, there will be no combining of orders for either sale, we need to save time- sorry about that.It should be Thursday or so, but I am having Curl in charge of it on her own, so I am unsure and she is still in Oregon- so TBA!
I am also unsure of my ETSY shops future ( etsys back logs are a NIGHTMARE, and even this small Mabon sale had a lot of problems), I was going to make it my ready made gift store, but I would rather do it all on the moonalisa.com site, but don’t want a present getting buried in collection orders so I am unsure yet until I get used to the back logs on the new site, I may even use the bigcartel that way- don’t know…….
So there are bound to be some issues and kinks to be ironed out, so please bare with us while we make adjustments to the new site, but it is our new home and I say us, because I had in mind when Kira designed it an old magic shop feel, the arcane and the sacred . A place for you all to be comfortable, grab your favorite beverage, light your candles and favorite incense….sit back…. relax… and enjoy:)

and i think all moona fans can agree that you deserve time to breath and create!
