Ok - Its Friday night, and I am not as smiley as I had hoped. BUT- hope springs eternal, and I have faith in the weekend. I will work and work and work , and I hope to do 20 more by Sundays end. That will leave about 15 or so to finish up Monday and Tuesday and that includes the November ninth orders too. All shipping on Tuesday will still ( except for internationals of course) get to you by Friday, the day before Yule and three days before Christmas- ouch- thats close. I am saving all the nearer to my location ones till the end ( sorry- the end I mean ship on Tuesday ) I just know you guys get them in about a day or so. Its now time for triage baby, Thats what my Husband calls it when I get down to the wire. It has been snagging my time doing all the graphics and endless details on the packaging , as usual. But I am getting great feedback on the looks of the packaging , so I hope you find it worth it. I know most of these are gifts, so I wanted to give my very best, but also realize the heightened anxiety it might cause. So I hope you have all read my update on the site as well. Things will definitely change next year, and Holiday sales will start MUCh earlier as well as being smaller, so no more nail biting-for-you or me. So now I will post the funny pic I promised. It is a bad copy since its SOOOO old and original a Polaroid. EEK! Notice the groovy high-fi in the back ground, the AWESOME plastic covering on the lamp in the foreground, the FABTABoulous hairdo on my Mom- hehe hee- sorry Mum , but you still look beautiful . And oh don’t forget the groovin hairstyles on the cousins, the fake fireplace and Little Moonas wonderful expression of picking her teeth with her tongue - oh yes don’t be distracted by the Spock bangs!- classic. I am only sad, you can’t see the hip “white” go go boots ( in December Mom? Who dressed me? ) and the “PINK” easter dress for Christmas- what a fashion sense I had! Hi everyone, sorry for being so quiet. I have been busy since Halloween, no rest for the wicked. We are working , working , working , and getting all those November 8th orders out by this coming Friday- which will be within my AMAZING 4-5 week TAT !!!( that is sarcasm) . I currently have only sixty-two more to go- Yahoo!!!!Needless to say the new workshop has not been finished, just too busy, and walls need to be reconstructed , among many other snags, but we will be finishing it up in the beginning of the New Year. The space is currently being used for storage of all of MoonaLisa’s containers and such. Which have far out grown are living space. So its a good thing. I have one Fab helper who is regular now , and hope to have two more next year. So next year things should run a lot faster with the TAT . ( knocks on wood)So my apologies for my snail like pace , I hope it hasn’t caused any nail biting . I do believe I can finish shipping everyone out by Friday the 14th, and the much smaller mountain of orders that were placed after the 8th, soon there after.I hope you are all enjoying the Season so far, I know I am looking forward to a nice small gathering on the Solstice , as well as a intimate family & friends gathering on Christmas Eve. So until my next entry , which I hope , and have every confidence in, I will be posting this coming Friday night with a big smile on my face , that all the November 8th orders are on their merry way. To keep you entertained thru the week, here is a scary picture of wee Moona, on a creepy Santa’s lap, taken at Woolworth’s years , and years ago, ( notice how I date myself with the groovy Christmas Decorations in the background) I distinctly remember hating being on his lap, and the unforgettable aroma of cheap booze and pee.
